Available Cats

These cats are currently in foster homes, awaiting adoption! Please check back or feel free to submit an application with what you are looking for. We always have new cats in our pipeline that may not be listed online!

Speck

Speck is an absolutely wonderful, amazing, friendly cat whom very sadly is with us as a hospice case. This beautiful soul is as gentle and loving as they come, and we are looking for a committed foster-hospice home to spoil her rotten for her remaining time, to keep her comfortable and knowing she is loved. Speck loves to groom her person, gives her paw, climb onto your lap and steal or share your pillow when you sleep at night. She will curl up on your head to be close to you. She is taking medication to keep her comfortable and extend her life and is very easy to medicate for someone with a little experience. She would make an amazing addition to a home and family of any constellation as she is so easy going. If you have space in your home and your heart to make this sweet girls end of life care extra special, please reach out to us; she only deserves the absolute best and as much attention as she can possibly be given.

Daisy Cake

Daisy Cake is the absolute sweetest girl! She is hoping to find a quieter home, where she can sunbathe and nap. She may even liven things up, as she can be quite the talker, especially at meal times! Daisy came into OAR Cats' care after losing her owner and being at risk in a shelter due to medical concerns. She is now well managed and at age 16, still has years ahead of her to share with that special someone. Could it be you?

Marty McFly

Marty McFly

Marty is a very shy, 2 year old neutered boy. He came to us from
a house with over eighty cats living inside. Marty is sweet, despite not having had the best early socialization. He allows petting
even while still being unsure of what to think of us humans.
Marty needs to live with other friendly cats who will show him
that humans are friends, and a patient person that will take things
slow to earn his trust. Once you do, you will have a friend
for life!

Dim Sum

Dim Sum is an adorable British Shorthair cat. She lives up to her name, which means "a tiny morsel". This playful girl would love a quiet home where she can be the apple of your eye and keep you both entertained and in good company. Dim Sum is around 10-12 years old and does live with diabetes. She takes insulin twice daily and is well managed with this and a low carb diet. Dim Sum would do best with a more experienced cat lover who appreciates cats unique language and can learn or is comfortable with administering insulin and sometimes checking blood glucose levels. If you are that extra special someone, we want to hear from you! Dim Sum is available either as a foster or foster to adopt to ensure the perfect forever match!

Tiny Tim

Tiny Tim has been in medical foster with us for over two months now. This adorable 1 year old boy came in very sick with FIP (feline infectious peritonitis). He has been improving with his treatment plan and we are hopeful he will be ready for adoption in another month. Tiny Tim may be small for his age, but he makes up for it in personality! This adorable boy LOVES to play, and plays independently very well! We think he would do great with another young friendly cat and people to spend time playing with him and providing interactive cat toys. Tiny Tim is available as a foster to adopt, provided he has a space to be quarantined until his medical treatment is completed.
